about

Reefer Madness: Reverse-Propaganda. This song drew heavy influence from the film of the same name released in the 1930's and seeks to undo the damage it caused to an industry that could quite literally save our species. The message is best summarized by paraphrasing the late great Bill Hicks when he said, "not only should marijuana be legalised, it should be mandatory'. A classic punk banger with a touch of Australiana, Reefer Madness introduces listeners to KoY's comedic side.

lyrics

When I want to escape the world it feels like paradise
When our burdens become perturbed the nerves they feel alright
Was this a plant from God to Man or made by Satan Himself?
Well I'd rather toke it now than find no reefer in hell
Yes I'd rather toke it now than find no reefer in hell

It was made for us
Maybe not for smoking
But blaze up we must
You might think we're joking
When the times get tough
And you feel yourself choking
It might be chemical but at least it's still edible

I can't think of better things to do with my time
So very little relevance is placed on the mind
Look a little closer and it wont pass your eyes
No time is like the present one to roll up the sky
So pack another paper up it's time to get high

This could never hurt a soul it only stops us growing old
We stress and worry and bitch and gripe
I think this lawyer needs a light
The past is dead the future bright
I see a twinkle in your eye
A star is born a million times a moment

When I want to escape the world it feels like paradise
When our burdens become perturbed the nerves they feel alright
Was this a plant from God to Man or made by Satan Himself?
Well I'd rather toke it now than find no reefer in hell
Yes I'd rather toke it now than find no reefer in hell

Can't stop smokin’ weed
